Where Our Journey Begins — The Bus More than six years ago, the sisters Melanie Tschugmall  and Isabelle Tschugmall  began a journey with The Small Village Botswana  that none of us fully understood at the time. What they created was more than a project — it was a new way of providing support, built on equality, shared responsibility, and dignity. Their work became especially vital when we learned about the situation at Polokong Elderly Care Center  during the COVID-19 pandem

At Polokong Elderly Home in Botswana, care and dignity remain at the heart of everything we do. From a new egg project bringing income, to expanded rooms and increased home visits during the cold winter months, the community continues to grow stronger.
